-New Product for Distribution
|
Greetings V.I.C. to Distribute Hydrogen Leak Tester Vacuum Instrument Corp. a world-leading manufacturer in the leak detection industry, today announced its plan to distribute a new series of Hydrogen gas leak detectors. For those companies looking for a test method that is not operator-dependent, V.I.C. offers a cumulative leak detection system based on the Hydrogen sensor instrumentation. This technique features the following benefits: >Uses a safe 5% hydrogen gas mixture >Product/Fixture outgassing is not a concern >Can test wet parts/not effected by humidity >Leaking pneumatic components will not effect test >Ideally suited for “lean cell” manufacturing >Tests the cumulative leak rate at a lower cost than Helium hard vac >Minimal maintenance required: -No chamber evacuation vacuum pumps -No evacuation valves and manifolding -Chamber/valves operate at no pressure differential -Minimal system leak integrity issues -No pump oils to change -No vacuum cleanliness requirements >Lower operating cost/utility consumption >Quiet, test is done at atm without the need for large vacuum pumps V.I.C. Partners with Testing Laboratory Through a partnership with Whitehouse Analytical Laboratories Vacuum Instrument Corporation has installed an MS-40 Dry Helium Leak Detector at WAL's Whitehouse, NJ location. Whitehouse Analytical Laboratories is a GMP-compliant, FDA-regulated and inspected testing facility serving pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other FDA regulated industries. The Helium Leak Detector will allow Whitehouse Analytical Laboratories to test for leaks in pharmaceutical packages as small as 4x10^-11 atm cc/sec for their clients. The MS-40 senses leaks by nondestructively introducing the package to a vacuum and utilizing specially tuned mass spectrometer to detect even the smallest amount of Helium leakage. The instrument is currently going through a formal IQ/OQ/PQ qualification process at W.A.L. Brian Mulhall, COO of W.A.L. said, "The installation of the V.I.C. Helium leak test instrument continues our plan to develop a comprehensive package integrity testing lab that serves the needs of our key pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients." More on the product. New -- Portable Dry Helium Leak Detector Vacuum Instrument Corp., introduces a Dry version of the MS-60 mass spectrometer helium leak detector for testing the integrity of products ranging from semiconductor/microelectronic devices to pharmaceutical packaging. The new MS-60Dry comes with a 16 cfm foreline/roughing pump for faster cycle times and clean room applications.
